INSTILLING FAITH ACROSS GENERATIONS

OVERVIEW

Backed by a major foundation grant, College of the Ozarks set out to launch a new initiative equipping parents and caregivers with age-specific spiritual formation tools for their kids. Starting from a big vision but little to go on, they turned to Polymath to execute most aspects of the entire project, which blossomed into a multi-year program involving digital and physical resources and communications.

Strategy

We began by finding the right name for the initiative, Rooted Families, inspired by the college’s agriculturally-inspired growth model for Christian formation: plant, root, growth, and fruit.

From there, our team developed a visual identity that felt both grounded and spiritually rich. We then extended that identity across a complete ecosystem of experiences, designing tactile, hands-on and online materials that families could engage with in meaningful ways.

Because the initiative was grant-funded, every family who signed up received the program as a gift, following a participant journey we created to ensure the experience felt just as thoughtful as it was generous.

Beyond that, Polymath’s work included designing and printing a 240-page guidebook with custom packaging, website and animation development, and creation of a three-year-long email series that included quarterly activity PDFs for continued audience engagement.

The result was a holistic brand experience that seamlessly connected strategy with storytelling to help thousands of families feel more deeply rooted in their faith.

OUR FAVORITE PART

On this project, we got to seamlessly blend a digital experience with a physical one, in close partnership with our teammates at Givington’s. What’s more, from building a website and promotional emails to designing printed materials and packaging, our team got to flex nearly all of our services across one cohesive product journey.

The best part? It all started with the client’s inspiring vision.
