Polymath Founder Tim Dalrymple to Lead Christianity Today as CEO
February 20, 2019
We at Polymath are thrilled for our founder, Dr. Timothy Dalrymple, who has been invited to serve as the next President and CEO of Christianity Today. Tim’s new role will be effective starting in May, as our clients were informed in an email earlier today.
Founded by the late Rev. Billy Graham, Christianity Today has become a global media brand reaching millions of influencers every month. A search committee began the process of identifying a new CEO last summer, on the announcement of outgoing CEO Harold Smith’s coming retirement.
While Tim will no longer be directing day-to-day operations at Polymath, he will remain the agency’s owner and advisor. Polymath will be led by the same team of creatives and strategists who have built our reputation as an unconventional agency that helps change-makers stand out through story, strategy, and content.
Tim founded Polymath in 2013 to serve organizations doing meaningful work in the world. What began as a few friends with expertise in web and content strategy expanded over the years into a dynamic team of creative professionals in the fields of animation, live-action video, product development, branding and design, digital marketing, web and app development, communications consulting, and more. Now a full-service creative agency, Polymath has established itself as one of the most sought-after partners for faith-based nonprofits, educational organizations, and a growing number of for-profit clients as well.
“Polymath has grown far beyond what I could have imagined six years ago,” Tim said. “The team is ready to take the reins. Polymath’s management and creative team are excellent, and will continue to scale the company and deliver first-class creative services to our partners who are changing the world.”
We’re excited about this transition for Tim and the bright future in store for Polymath. Visit Christianity Today to learn more about Tim’s new position.
